Summer in 2016, I spent most of my time driving by this huge fruit stand on the side of the road on Jamaica avenue in Brooklyn, right before the entrance and exit of the Jackie Robinson highway. They sold tropical fruits like pineapples, watermelons, grapes and my personal favorite quenepas. Oh! and let's not forget the best of the pick the Coconuts!!! These huge coconuts are loaded of water. The guys even scoops out the meat of the coconut for you, along with a cup of the coconut juice or you can choose to drink the water right out of the coconut if you like. I found it fascinating how much of a professional this guy was, even when right before I left he yelled out to me how nutritious the coconut water is for you. So of course you know I couldn't resist the research.
